Employer Services Wages Information

All employers have the legal responsibility to pay correct award wages and to comply with employment conditions relating to their industry.

An up to date copy of the award should be available for access by employees at any time. In addition, industrial inspectors and official union representatives have the right to inspect wages books and employment conditions.

Social Events

The Master Painters Association have a wide range of social events throughout the year that all members are welcome to attend. The highlight each year is the AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE presentation night which is attended by over 150 people.

Another traditional event is the PAINTING INDUSTRY GOLF DAY, this is certainly more of a social get together than a serious test of our sporting abilities!! No golfing experience is necessary.

We also have various BBQ and dinners which are a good opportunity for member to meet and discuss concerns, ideas etc.
